Who doesn't like (on September) the Christmas mood of snowy white mountains and lovely creatures?

A romantic escape to Bormio in the weekend, a hint of altitude and here we are, magically catapulted in the following season.

Let's be honest: arriving to the hotel - an old restored mansion, on the threshold of woods, at night, with the snowflakes that highlight the street it's MAGIC!

After a long journey, the proper rest. The cooking experience it's a fundamental part and that's why we didn't stop to the most awarded proposals of the Bormio movida but we went further, searching the real spirit of this place. No better suggestion than the good local taste who brought us to a trattoria - essential but tiny - in the small town of Santa Caterina. Obtained in the spaces of an apartment, 5 small tables for the customers overlooking the genuine kitchen: you immediately feel at home. The kindness of the staff and the tasty plates confirm soon after (much appreciated the "Pesteda").
Between a sciatt and another, you must enjoy the spa. And if the outdoor heated swimming pool, with special view on snowy mountains+old church+sunset it's a classic, the WOW effect of a chamois grazing family visit didn't miss - perfectly on time for aperitivo, elegant, casual among the guests in the pool.

The good food and the relax are not enough to forget ourselves? The nature completes and with his magnificence, it brings us back to our equilibrium.
Graced by a fabulous weather, it was necessary to celebrate his power proceeding to the top of the Stelvio Pass.
Forty hairpin bends and little ice on the street and we arrived at the target.

Buona Italia!
