A travel brings you further than the only steps of its path.

At the beginning there is a need that may not be totally clear that in the experience is defined and completed.

 

Why do we need to travel?

The thrill for new, the love for beauty, the calm of the distance… What else? We can find many answers in what we’ve left behind because, as the negative of a photo imprints its complementary values, what remains fills our failures and helps us to outline them.

The need not to need.

The essential is one of those answers. It’s not a matter of banalize our needs but to catch their essence and not to lose ourselves in the appearances. So we can find the real solution.

The exercise is not easy but this is the first step for the awareness that helps to understand why we search an emotion shared with eyes, a barefoot in the grass, a skyline free to nature. Man is still “animal” for hundreds of thousands of years and the changes of modernity cannot annul his nature in few centuries.

Could we ever forget it? Maybe not, or at least not our instinct. Just observe where we find ourselves.
